“It’s always better with company.” Alison nodded, clapping slightly as the film began to play. In many ways, Alison was still naieve, and when it came to watching her favourite movies, she always seemed to get a little hyper – though anyone who knew her already knew about that facet of her personality. Alison wasn’t ashamed of her childlike tendencies, it was better than being critical about everything. “So… What’s your favourite song?”

Zola smiled, “Of course it is, sis.” she said giving her little sister a side hug. Even though Alison was only one year younger than Zola, she felt like she was a little girl. So she really felt like a big protective sister when she was with her. As the movie was starting Ali asked Zola about her favorite song, the brunetteraised her eyebrows, “Oh that’s a good question, sis.” she said and thought about it for a couple seconds, “I’ll have to say either, La Via Boheme or Seasons of Love.” she said with a smile on her face, “What about yours, Boo?” she asked her shrugging a little.

“Yep… Play it so we can get our sing on.” Alison nodded, reaching for one of the drinks she had brought up. She normally only drank water, to help make her diet that little bit more healthy, but on occasion she’d drink something fizzier and this was one of those nights. She hadn’t had many chances to just have a movie night lately so she was going to make the most of it while she could. “It’s surprising you’re not tired after everything… But then I guess you’ve always had a way to stay energetic when most of us would just want to sleep.”

“I’m on it sis!” she said with excitement before playing the movie, Zola haven’t seen Rent in about a month now, so she was really excited about it. After her sister mentioned being tired, Zola shrugged, “I acutally am a little tired, sis.” she told her and smiled, “But we needed this time.” she said and shook her head, “Besides it’s way better to be here with you than alone in my room.” she said before grabbing some popcorn.

Nodding as Zola said that she’d pause the movie, Alison pushed herself from the bed before slipping into her slippers and running downstairs to the kitchen. Given the fact their younger brother ate most things, their parents had taken to hiding any sweets around the kitchen. Heading for one of the spots she knew – Alison pulled out a few bars of chocolate and whatever else she could get her hands on. Grabbing them a couple of drinks, she made her way back up to her bedroom, placing everything on the bed before walking back to close the door. “I think that should cover us for a little while.” She said laughing as went to sit next to her sister again.

As Alison went downstairs, Zola was just sittin in her bed and playing with her hair while she waited for her sister. She took her phone out as she waited and checked her email and texts. She texted Chey, she knew that the girl was at the Olympics, so she wanted to wish her luck. Before she could think of another thing, Alison was back in the room. After seeing all that her sister brought the brunette nodded, “Yeah, I think that’ll cover.” she said giggling, “So should I play the movie now?” she asked her shrugging.
